A Journey to the Stars
Hi & welcome to Cosmic Heart Astrology. My name is Colleen O'Brien and this business has evolved from working with thousands of people across both my previous corporate career and subsequent personal astrology consultations.
My work has grown from more than 30 years of study and extensive practice with mainly word-of-mouth astrology clients seeking what I too seek: greater meaning and understanding of this extraordinary experience we call life.
On reflection, I've had a heart-led interest in astrology since childhood — from where that came is still one of those mysteries — but I suspect from other lives' experiences too. Being born into a very large family with siblings who were all so very different, whilst sharing the same parents and virtually the same environment, was a constant curiosity for me. The more I delved into astrology, the more easily those differences were answered.
After completing a university degree in Business Communications–Journalism and working in TV, radio and film, I serendipitously took up a communications management role in government services, leading a few years later to the establishment of my own specialist corporate training company — training thousands of public sector employees over 15 years. During that very corporate time I still yearned for deeper meaning, and was led, again serendipitously, to formal studies of astrology.
I immediately found this ancient wisdom to be a truly insightful and beneficial tool, enriching my understanding of not only myself but also others — way beyond the scope of mainstream psychology and corporate management frameworks I'd been using till then. And that's why my love for the wisdom and insights of astrology continues ...

My practice draws on decades of dedicated formal study across journalism, business communications, the science of happiness, the philosophy and history of science, esoteric buddhism and psychology, and western astrology — combined with the lived wisdom of working with thousands of clients across Australia and internationally as I explore our wonderful world.
